Again I disagree. Things were quite secretive, organized, and much well-paid bash in my opinion. After all, the entry to the club cost a minimum of $600/month. Those paying had to get something to keep coming back for more. There was no charity there, no altruistic "crusading" despite claims. The FBI purloined data and the extortion were just examples of what was quite secretive until exposed in court.

Not in a meaningful sense. They were simply bashing companies whose stock they were short. It's not as if that was some kind of secret. Far from it.
