From my research, BRCM will report an excellent Q3 earning. Absent of mkt meltdown, MRVL should ride BRCM's coatail to $18.5 - $19.5 shortly this month.
Barrons online blog said PC demand is very strong in Q3 and Q4, annecdotal of INTC, AMD, Seagate. The later said it ran out of capacity for very strong Q4 demand.
In other news, Microsoft shares today fell 3%, even as the Associated Press and others noted that the company’s Xbox 360 game console [using MRVL Wifi] finally outsold Nintendo’s Wii in September for the first time in months thanks to the “Halo 3″ video game.
Heats said MRVL would file a SEC form summarizing the result of the ASM voting shortly.
