what's with picking on ayn rand, the champion of self-reliance; and, not depending on governments and others to do for you what you should be doing for yourself. if that's greed, i'll take it any day as opposed to the opposite. there is a big difference between greed and "the virtue of selfishness" as advocated by ayn rand.
