Ok guys back to work! I sat here and read the 'doom and gloom' posts all weekend and frankly, it was pretty pitiful. The recurring theme has always been 'we need more buyers'...With the way the board was posted this weekend I'm sure we sold anyone that happened to drop by and browse the posts that we are sitting on a great company and they need to buy as well. Way to go! Oh well, everyone needs to vent and blow off some steam every now and then, and I'm pretty sure that's all that was. Anyway, bwog2 is a shareholder after my own heart...a true kindred spirit, and I thank him for adding some clarity to all this. Just like everyone else, I'm as frustrated as the rest of you at the current pps but, I KNOW that more is going on behind the scenes than we can know right now. Bwog has said the exact same thing that I have said regarding the relative silence from SSPE and of course, I couldn't agree more. I sincerely believe that we are getting ready to have a money bomb dropped on us in the coming days...things don't get this quiet when a company is still on top of their game...and I believe SSPE is. Or, something else that may need to be considered is this...they may actually be having trouble negotiating services and promotions. Why? Because as a company becomes more successful they gain more leverage and become more competitive in negotions due to the fact that instead of taking everything that comes their way because they have to, they now are able to truly negotiate a deal to their best interest. That can tend to complicate a negotiation or business deal. In any case, this is far from being a dead stock....if it's acting like this a year from now well, then ok. It's dead and going nowhere fast. But, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, I'm nowhere near it yet. I also believe that this upcoming unknown company/M1 deal announcement will have a substantial impact on SSPE. Whether SSPE is the buyer or not means nothing to me. What I believe is important is that the MMA landscape and powerbalance is shifting and changing. That is nothing but opportunity for SSPE and the AOW brand. Fedor and Randy may be the biggest names out there but you know what? They might just be 'has beens' too. I'm not taking anything away from them. They are the best of the best but, no one ever thought there would be another Ali, or Frazier, or Sugar Ray, but..new fighters who drew just as big a crowd and had just as big a following continued to appear in the ring. This will be no different. Who is to say that AOW won't produce the next Fedor or Randy? If you say that they won't or can't then sell out and go find another stock because you don't believe in the company that you invested in. Which, means your money has been badly placed. I believe that when you invest in a company you are doing so because you believe that they will be the best of their breed. If you aren't convinced that you have the potential best of breed then re-read bwog's post and re-read some of mine as well as the other die hard's on the board. If then, you still aren't convinced that you are sitting on a money bomb getting ready to explode then like bwog said...please, pretty please sell. Like I said, I'm not happy with the current pps but, I truly believe it's a temporary growing pain and that we'll be off to the races before too much longer. GLTA
