the FRISKERPRO does have competition overseas
Adams Electronics was founded in 1965 with the introduction of the original and truly portable hand held metal detector (model B100). This first unit was designed by Mr. John D. Adams. From this beginning the company quickly expanded into archway ("walk-through"), ground search (anti-personnel Mine) metal detector products, explosives detectors and then on to produce conveyer and portable x-ray screening equipment.
Today, Adams Electronics is under the personal direction of Mr. Robert E. Adams as Chairman/CEO. The company is dedicated to manufacturing the most comprehensive range of portable metal detector products available, with uncompromising standards for both performance and quality, from general purpose models like the AD10-2 and AD11-2, to the super sensitive models AD15 and AD2600S for highly specialized applications, such as detecting extremely small metal objects concealed even within the body, with pin point accuracy.
With manufacturing facilities in both the United Kingdom and the United States of America, Adams Electronics products are in use extensively world-wide by Airports, Police Forces, Prisons, Military applications as well as precious metals refineries, microchip manufacturers and many more. Adams Electronics is also contracted to the U.S. Government to supply its model ADI5 hand held metal detector to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, as well as setting a new "Bench Mark" standard for hand held metal detection in many other State correctional and law enforcement facilities.
Future
With research, development and improvements continuously in progress, Adams Electronics security products have earned the kind of reputation that security professionals trust and therefore can now be found in daily use in over 100 countries....and counting!
