LEWISVILLE, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 10/10/07 -- American Resource Technologies, Inc. (formerly Golden Chief Resources, Inc.) (OTCBB: ARUR) (PINKSHEETS: ARUR) announces they have been informed by its operator they intend to begin re-working operations on one existing well on the Lindley lease in Montgomery County, Kansas, and 3 existing wells on the Ownbey lease located in Chautauqua County, Kansas. The operator expects to begin these operations later this week. This activity reflects the Company's commitment to increase its oil and gas reserves by increased drilling activity, enhancement of existing wells, and lease acquisition.

Since beginning drilling operations, approximately a year ago, the Company has drilled nine successful oil wells and re-worked four wells all located in Kansas. Currently, the Company has fourteen producing wells.
