BIIB Biogen Idec reports 19% rev growth for 2003 (44.14 +0.73)

Co preannounces Y03 (Dec) unaudited pro forma revenues of $1.85 bln,a 19% increase year/year to Y02 revenues of $1.55 bln. Co sees Q4 (Dec) revenues of $491 mln, a 15% increase year/year over 4Q02 revenues of $426 mln. As a result of the merger, Biogen Idec will report GAAP results for the fourth quarter and full year 2003 that include the consolidated results of a full year of the former IDEC Pharmaceuticals and the 7 weeks of post-merger activity of the former BIIB
