note to fuagf, and all -- sometimes a link is long enough that iHub truncates how it appears in the post -- as with this smh.com link -- the truncated link works in the post so long as the entire link was in the text submitted to make the post -- if a post with a (working) truncated link is copied to put into the text of another post, only the truncated link is in the text to be submitted to make the new post, and in that new post that truncated link will not work -- the fix is to rt-click on the working truncated link in the post being copied and select 'copy shortcut', and then paste that complete link in place of the copy of the truncated link in the text of the post being composed
