Your contract is with your broker not bcit. Your contract is with your broker not the sec. If you do not understand the basics of a contract you have no chance of ever getting your shares.

If I sold you a chair and you paid me and I do not deliver it,
I cannot get out of the liability to deliver it by claiming I had arranged to get one from someone else but cannot get delivery, nor can I claim the menopause as an excuse, nor claim a dispute with someone else.

My problems are of no interest to you, you want your chair. You go to court and get your chair.. All you have to ask the judge for is your physical certificates. No one else can get them for you. If the broker offers you money then you should ask for the equivalent of the last official traded price,
