That AAPL dominates the music player mkt (Ipod)
AAPL does not dominate the cell phone mkt

RIMM, NOK, VZ, MOT, PALM, HPQ, are not going to roll over because AAPL came out with an Iphone - BTW - MRVL supplies most of the above mentioned cos.

AAPL had to cut px's already on Iphone - and they are trying to maintain margins by passing the px cuts down to the vendors. This could result in vendors bolting AAPL - thus leaving AAPL with an inferior phone.

The competition is fierce in the cell phone mkt and mark my words with or w/o MRVL - this will catch up to AAPL sometime next year.

Again - focus on the potential MRVL/GRMN relationship. This is a match made in heaven - if MRVL can produce something for GRMN - this could be huge for the stock - simply b/c no one is anticipating a new line of rev for MRVL.

To summarize:
Don't worry about AAPL - they are not the only customer MRVL supplies to in the cell phone mkt
Ck out what GRMN does, who holds the stock, look at what MRVL does and you'll see the possibilities.
