"The Company also announced today that it has retained the services of New York-based special council to resolve certain issues, discrepancies and misrepresentations made by Nord Oil and its management..."
My guess is that Malyshev has been trying to deal with the discrepancies in the company he inherited through this reverse merger for all of this year and he's ticked he's been tricked. The Russian audit so many complained about probably confirmed his fears. Now he's going after what belongs to NWOL. I'll repeat what I've said many times here. If Malyshev hadn't have bought NDOL there would be no hope for any comeback.
Possible scenario: Maly knows he's been had by Farkin Parkin and crownies but now he's stuck with the NWOL road he's chosen to go down in his quest to make it to big time. He has to minimize Parkin & company's impact on NWOL's future as I understand they still own lots of shares. Reverse split 1 for 100, shrinks float & O/S, then increase O/S from about 95 mill to maybe 150 mil and you've just erased the influence of mr parkin. No chance that his tons of shares will impact the directional decisions of NWOL. In the process it hurts us small share holders too in the intermediate. However, with GAAP aud, up list, in a year or two's time, we should be doing just fine.
