my two cents on down mkts. I think any/all systems that hope to succeed in the long run need to have a methodology for going short. This is the area where they can step away from the crowd of mutual funds and provide outsize gains.

You CAN time the market!

But only after you trash the big 3 myths.

Myth 1 - its possible to get every point of every move
...Myth 2 - you'll never have a drawdown
......Myth 3 - you'll never have a loss
