Arch. . .I've decided I'm going to try not and sell any HRCT shares at this point unless an emergency comes up. I have a very strong feeling that the new CEO on the block is going to make it rock. This guy previously held a VIP position with Prudential of China. He also has connections with the institutional investors in China. GTCI, on the other hand, I'll watch. . .and sell if I need extra cash come the first quarter. KM. . .I bought. . .could NOT resist. I've seen this type of thing (like KM is experiencing) happen so many times that I wish I would have jumped on them all! Remember when CPQ, GTW, GTW, INTC. . .and the like, were supposed to TANK! Guess what, they did! And, they came back! KM will be trading back in the teens in 6 months. Mark my words.
Okay. . .other hot MACRO stocks that I like to watch are SMTC, MSVN and AMD. You get a good entry on these tech stocks, and they jump on every rumor. One thing I like to try and do is plug my gains from small caps and micros into macro positions (at appropriate times). Let the money you make continue to make gains. . .and leave it alone. Then, play with the small stuff. Many investors hate daytraders. But guess what? Who cares? We're all in this for one reason. . .otherwise we'd go out and build our own company! TO MAKE QUID! Okay, enough. I just got back from the gym. . .ready to ATTACK the year 2002. You will see a more toned-down. . .but accurate M&M Man in 2002. This corner is where my focus will be. Watching the China stocks should prove interesting. But honestly, we've got to give them five years or so. Keep in mind, HRCT's already been delving in that market for much longer than that.
Gotta run . . .catch you all soon. . .
Keep the Faith!
