Oh no, i'm not beating down on you, Fletch, i know someone who owns a large slug of covad, so i'm a little concerned about it. And i'm looking at from more of a long term perspective than a short term trade.

I just googled-news covad, to see if there was something i was missing.

Covad depends on the telcos sharing their equipment, which was part of telecom act in 96.

I guess that brings up my third concern. What if that act gets changed?

So far, the act is being upheld like here in this article:

But i'm hearing the act might get changed, so telcos don't have to share their lines with high speed providers like Covad. If that happens, Covad will need to change it's business model.
