No, I can't make the same claim. I have in fact shorted stock on more than one occasion. There is nothing illegal or immoral about shorting stock and the only problem with it is the unfair and prejudicial "uptick rule".

In point of fact, there is an advantage in trading the short side as opposed to the long side in that stocks tend to go down a hell of a lot quicker than they go up.
