Hey wahz,
Your strategy to buy with a good entry and hold is very much to my liking. Working more then full time, I can't watch or do much trading anyway. There are several mistakes that can be made by traders....myself included. Some trading knowledge I've picked up on over time is...... The tendency to sell the strongest plays you have.....and of course, they keep on going up. Soon you don't follow them anymore because it's just too painful to watch. By selling the strong ones, some "traders" are left with a portfolio of losers.
I myself need to block the compulsion to catch falling knives <ng>. The tendency here is to buy once strong plays that fall out of favor and then the need to wait for a long base to play out or a reversal, just to extricate yourself. Many times I think I'm selling high and I am and buying back at support, which I do....then they keep falling. Then what does a trader do? Trading really isn't easy, especially if you can't watch.

What I try to do is buy an over size position first with a good entry. I trim some like maybe 1/4 of it after it's runs up a little, to give myself a cushion. Hopefully it keeps going up and I'll sell another 1/4 position possibly on a spike up. If you can wait with cash....very hard to do btw, you might buy some back if it falls. Stocks due tend to trade in ranges or boxes with steps up and or down. The boxes can also be slanted up or down. Enough of this.....it's not easy or we'd all be billionaires lol.

Now, I really don't know who this wahz guy is but I think heaven sent him. He has a sense of humor, knows the market, picks great stuff and shows a wonderful emotion.....compassion.....he really wants to help.

Much easier to just hold now,
Fletch

PS My brother did some work with COVD.....The CEO said they will be doing much better very soon....just a thought....
