As I stated in the origional message, I requested clarification on management roles in the financing and asked for specific information on Ms Messinger's involvement, citing opinions that she was not involved in such work.
I received a reply from Roger Stoll in which he stated that Ms Messinger was involved in every financing and that they could not be done without her. He stated that in small companies, such transactions typically involved both the CEO and CFO and that financings were joint efforts in which both he and Ms Messinger were involved. Furthermore, he stated that "very few investors would finance a biotech if they had not spoken directly with the CEO and everyone of the companies who invested in the last round also dealt directly with Maria."
Having gone through this dialog, I do not necessarily know, one way or the other if we have a top notch CFO, but for now, I am going to focus on the upcoming series of binary events and avoid any further discussion of the management for the time being.
