alots of company did the rs...........even sun did it recently. especially after the crash of the internet bubble..
alots of company did reverse split .. so that's the price would be higher .. to attract more investor and eliminated to much outstanding shares.......maybe they are doing this because they are ready to move into amex.. i don't know but that what i heardd during one of ceo interview......but i see no news regarding r/s.
