NEW YORK and MONTREAL, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Northern Lights International Airlines Ltd., a start up charter airline 50% owned by ICBS Limited, (Pink sheet, ICBM), today announced that a new member has been added to the board.
The Board of Directors of Northern Lights Airlines announced today that it has elected Douglas Nichols to the Company's board. Mr. Nichols is a former senior executive of The Boeing Company where in his 28 year career there he held numerous senior operating, financial, strategic planning, and corporate development positions in the company's Commercial Airplane Group, Defense & Space Group, and Corporate Headquarters.
His senior assignments have included Chief Financial Officer & # 2 operating executive for the Commercial Airplane Group's multi-billion dollar 747/767 Jet Airplane business unit; Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Boeing Enterprises, the company's in-house investment arm responsible for mergers, acquisitions, joint venture investments and New Company business operations; Director of Finance for the 737 Boeing Business Jets business unit; Director of Finance & # 2 operating executive for the worldwide commercial jet airplane Customer Services business unit; Assistant Controller-Operations & Strategic Planning for the company's Commercial Airplane Group; Assistant Controller-Operations & Strategic Planning for The Boeing Company (Corporate Headquarters); Director of Planning for the company's Defense and Space Group; Assistant Controller-Financial Planning, Accounting, Taxes, & Treasury for the Defense and Space Group; Controller for the Defense and Space Group's Navy Systems Division; and Director of Finance of the Defense & Space Group's E-6 707 Program for the United States Navy.
During his career at The Boeing Company, Mr. Nichols gained deep aviation domain knowledge encompassing all aspects of the operational and financial management of aircraft manufacturing programs and commercial airline operations, including market evaluation and design development; supply base management; Component fabrication and advanced final assembly processes; systems testing and experimental/production flight testing; airline analysis and aircraft marketing and sales; aircraft sales financing, and in-service aircraft logistics and operational support to commercial operators.
Mr. Nichols holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Corporate Finance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
