That's kind of the point. Everyone was expecting Intel to amaze because that's the established pattern. Contrast that to AMD with their vapor Barcelona launch. Everyone was expecting them to disappoint so it's no big deal. It's AMD's established pattern.

Expect Intel's pattern to continue until you see otherwise. Same for AMD.
