One interpretation would be that PBLS fullfilled its part of the lease by making its lease payments. The only additional payments would come from profits that can be directly linked to the lease violation. I'm guessing it would be in the form of restitution and perhaps a fine. I think the the size of damages would depend on how much material the sub leases took out of the mine.
