Royalty Discounts

If there are any other situations where Q has offered royalty discounts tied to ASIC purchases nobody has ever mentioned it.

They certainly have talked about it. Qualcomm nets out the price of the chipset when calculating royalties for its customers while using the full wholesale price of the handset for non-MSM vendors.
