QUOTE "Im going to guess that they have an "on call" crew that rotates coverage. Gulf of Mexico is typically 14 on and 14 off. In DPDW's case - they probably go out with the equipment and stay until the job is complete - whether it be an install or repair and then head back to town - get some down time and then have "shop days" if nothing is pending." end QUOTE

You are correct there medic! Our boys build it, test it, run it, and then install it Subsea. Note to all, as you seen in the pics that Brikk posted for me, the installations are not always done from a rig. Most of DPDW or DDI, as they are know in the GOM, equipment is ran from Installation vessels. The one we are on now has 2 ROVs, HUGE CRANE, and several other installation equipment machines. <Too deep to get in to...>

I have several buddies that work for DDI, and one of which is a close friend. They keep them running, as you put it, "24/7/365" as do most of us that work out here. We don't have the luxury of 14 and 14....

brikk, I need to send you that video but it won't load... I'll try again. What a run we had yesterday! Man I luv sit'n out here, logging on and see'n "MONEY IN THE BANK!" <pb looks at Gros Schwab and holds up the 3 finger salute!!!>
