I have to admit it bothered me to be displaying an ad to subscribers on *any* page of the site, but ended up deciding that it's okay and I won't hear too much of an uproar as long as it's limited to ancilliary parts of the site. Specifically, when Premium members are reading messages; no ads. Other, less frequently visited parts of the site, ads, but relevant ones.

And given that Premium members, more than most people, understand that there's a business behind the site, that must remain viable and even profitable, I don't expect any backlash.

Besides, the new quotes page is worth it. Level II, historical prices, news, etc.
