Mr. Wayne... I believe companies change their names by choice because they want to issue new stock for new investors.
Also, by r/s'ing then changing the name, companies usually announce the old stock is deemed worthless and this gets rid of the old annoying common shareholders from the last shell holding corp.
Every day event in the pink and grey markets. Not to be mistaken for the bigger boards and real companies.
