from what little I know about the beginnings, Sadam
kind of convincingly insinuated to the US they had
or were building up some good chemical warfare...
and alluded they may use them against us..or our
allies..so we had
no choice but to go investigate his 'claims'..
basically, one thing led to another...because of
Sadam's subtle insinuations..

I personally don't care if if Iraq and Iran blow each other off the map...those people have been fighting for thousands of years..so why stop now?..it's their 'tradition' to fight..
if they run out of missles to shoot at each other,
they'll start the rock throwing again..

but just don't start screwing around with our allies
over there...
