NFSE nFinanSe Meets Requirements of Internationally Recognized Payment Card Industry
Data Security Standard

Company Receives Level One Payment Service Provider PCI Certification

BRADENTON, Fla., Sep 05, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- nFinanSe Inc. (NFSE) today
announced it has successfully completed its recent security audit and met the
requirements for Level One Payment Card Industry (PCI) Payment Service Provider
Compliance. This is the international standard recognized by the Payment Card
Industry Standard Council(TM) and requires an independent third-party audit from
an approved PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) is an
industry-sponsored security requirement developed by American Express, Discover
Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa International, founders of
the Payment Card Industry Standard Council(TM), to help organizations protect
sensitive customer account data and prevent fraud and various other security
issues.

As a Payment Services Provider, nFinanSe is responsible for ensuring the security
of sensitive account data, including names, social security numbers and account
numbers, whether stored, active or during a transaction. The Company's on-site
security audit was conducted by BT INS, a leading provider of security services
and the highest rated US National Security Agency-certified organization to-date.

According to Peter Verderber, CISSP, PCI QSA, one of the auditors from BT INS,
"It was one of the most efficient audits we have ever conducted due to nFinanSe's
preparedness. Security was clearly a very strong consideration when nFinanSe
designed the infrastructure, developed the policies and procedures and
implemented the cardholder data security controls."

The PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) is a multifaceted security standard that
includes compliance requirements covering a range of topics consisting of
security management, policies and procedures, network architecture, software
design and other critical protective measures. The security audit also includes a
compliance validation performed on all system components where cardholder data is
stored, processed or transmitted.

Added Mr. Verderber, "The information security program, comprised of physical,
technical and administrative controls at nFinanSe, presents an overall security
posture that exceeds what we have seen at most other organizations seeking PCI
compliance."

nFinanSe's Chief Technology Officer, Daniel W. Davis, CISSP, CISM, CEH stated,
"This level of security gives nFinanSe a competitive advantage in the marketplace
while ensuring the continued security of our cardholders. Out of all the
financial services companies and retailers worldwide, we believe that less than
500 companies have achieved this level of security and we are proud to be in this
esteemed company."

"nFinanSe's impressive security infrastructure, and highly knowledgeable and
committed information security leadership provides assurance for future growth in
a PCI compliant framework," closed Mr. Verderber.
