Hey Fred,

thank you for the reply.
How could I disagree!

I'd like to add a comment about President Bush: However much we may dislike the individual and the course of his Presidency, we mustn't lose sight of the fact that he is a product of a system. The major difference between him and his predecessor is where we find the excesses.

Why has the Congress we elected last fall become mute on the war in Iraq? Do you imagine the money that underwrote our abominable invasion of a sovereign nation has not found its way into Democratic coffers?

Political parties are conduits of corruption. Doubt it at your peril.

Where the United States is today,
socially,
economically,
politically,
has been long coming.
Long comings = short goings.

The foundation of our government,
was never intended to promote freedom!
Not the freedom
we blindly accept
and call a democracy.
We have rights, and
privileges,
sure enough,
but
we're tightly restricted
and held captive by the
bureaucracy

Captives of ignorance,
false pride
and DEBT!

We've
been manipulated
from head to toe
and
from the beginning
of the nation
to the end.

We don't have FREEDOM!
Freedom promotes prosperity
and
it encourages
expansion!

We've been sold
a shoddy bag of
goods.
We're free-
sure enough,
because
we are granted this-

The Freedom To PURSUE???

And so Fred, I agree,
Bush/Cheney are not
the designers of the
current government.

They had/have no choice,
nor
will the next president
have a choice.

The next president
will be forced
by the system, to continue
on with the lie, just as
the current one has.

Hopefully, though,
the next one
will be less of a bully.
It won't be quite as
painful getting raped
by a charmer

Terry
