I signed up for auto delivery of all articles from the Portland Business Journal that include the words: NVEI, Brad Ketch, RIM Semiconductor. Not sure I'll catch the article before anyone else does, but I think the auto send service is a nice feature and its free.

I signed up for this free service also although I imagine it will show up the same day its published.

Is the journalist sending emails directly to you?
