Well Tom...my stratagy is simple really.
Make money. When I start to LOSE money I sell and
eat the fees. If ANY stock I own takes a 35% or
better run in a day...it's toast.
I'm confused at YOUR confusion of selling on a
.10 swing. Let's do some MATH....
.10 move the decimal 10,000 FOUR places....
$1,000.00usd X say 2 to 5 times with an average of 2.5 =
$2,500 per trade.
Hummmmm...I'm STILL confused...thirthy or forty pennys
on the move....that's a lot of green men climbing the hill !
My problem is that I'll find a company that I LIKE and go
LONG becoming and "INVESRTOR" and I'll walk the dawg or
brush my teeth and 20 or 30% of my capital is gone and I
drink in tears for the next few days.
Tell me Tom...were you one of those kids that didn't LIKE
the FRONT CAR on the ROLLER-COASTER ???
The only stock I'm EVER "Long" on NOW are ones that I was
AFRAID to take a SMALL short term loss when a stock was
acting like HEC is RIGHT NOW !!!

I said I'd SELL last night at 1.04...but I'm hanging in
their TRYING not to END UP a LONG at .95 with EVERYBODY ELSE!!!

PS...ya know...that formula ABOVE works when you sell out
and THEN watch the price DROP...that dip was DOLLARS flyin
out the gaping window....Dollars that you COULD have used to
INCREASE you SHARE size when you buy them BACK at a cheaper
PRICE.
I can't "SHORT" these stocks at my EXPENSIVE broker. I can
only sell and then HOPE that, like everybody else, that I
was RIGHT !

We are all playing the same game...we're all just on different
places on the course. My only solice is in knowing that even
the GREATEST players in the world end up in the pond or down
in the sand trap.
