To those who keep an eye on this board ...

I've been unhappy with the label "Active Democracy" ever since I learned that Dr. Lyn Carson at the University Of Sydney (Australia) uses that term for her work in the field of enhancing citizens' involvement in the activities of local, state or federal government. She was doing this work before I put pen to paper and I don't think I should use the same label. Incidentally, she presents some fascinating case studies. I'd like to change the label I use and am toying with the idea of using either REAL DEMOCRACY or TRUE DEMOCRACY. I think these terms are appropriate because the method I've suggested involves the entire electorate in the electoral process and let's everyone participate ... which, as far as I'm concerned ... is what genuine democracy should be.

If you have an opinion on the topic, I'd like to hear it.
