Good i figured you would as any any bit reasonable person must.

Have you ever wondered why, "causes", "is causing" or
"has caused" is so much of the lexicon rather than
"contributes to" which is obviously how it should be?

As far as changing our lives well how about change for the
positive? Seems to me if we are contributing to the warming
of our atmosphere and if there is any possibility that we could
affect a better future for your children's grandchildren then
we should make the effort. I have no idea what is true or not
about a lot of things and certainly my tendency to "have to
understand" and to "look at all sides of everything" and to
"give everybody else the benefit of the doubt" and to "look
for the the good things in others, at least there must be one"
and to "try to help if i can" .. all those things have driven
me to spend some time on lost causes and inaction and
indecision on too many questions for too long a time.

It is beyond me how you can say "I think the planet Earth is
far more powerful than you think" as well, I have seen the
destruction that can occur from natural disasters and am well
aware of the power in the worst earthquake, the wost volcano
or the worst flood. Naturally caused fires can deliver quite a
blow to, so how you could even consider your sentence is beyond me.

I fully agree with your statement "there are many things about
how it works that aren't really known." and further 100% believe
that there will be as much uncertainty about things in 100 years
from now. The things that aren't really known will simply be on
a different level. Why do you think i have sooooooooo much trouble
with the certainties .. many of which which keep changing, i note
.. of the categorized religions? That position of certainty,
particularly a certainty which denies so much of our present
day science to me has no rational basis at all. It is incomprehensible
to me. 100% certainty eg of the Pope's infallibility on any matter
or the idea that he or any others have some divine communication
with an external God who has any affect independently of human
intervention is, in my mind, just too fanciful for anyone in
this day and age to believe.

For too long have all parts of me struggled with that; thankfully
I don't anymore. Is simply unbelievable to me, it really is.

How about the idea that if all the automobile makers except it
seems Toyota had not submerged and sunk the electric, solar or
hydrogen car then there would not have been the energy nor the
desire to control the mid-East region and we may not have been
subjected to the travesty of the 2003 invasion and the bombing
and economic attack upon a sovereign country since your country
shot down a commercial airliner on a commercial flight ON PURPOSE
to end the 8 year Iraq-Iran war. WHAT KIND OF A DUMBASS FOREIGN POLICY
HAS TO CREATE ENEMIES SO THAT THEY CAN FIGHT WARS. WHAT KIND OF
LOVE FOR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN'S CHILDREN AD INFINITUM, AS LONG
AS THE HUMAN RACE SURVIVES BUILDS A DOMESTIC ECONOMY SO
MUCH ON THE BASIS OF THE NEED FOR AN ENEMY AND WAR.

IT IS IMPERIALISTIC THINKING AND SOONER OR
LATER THE WORLD HAS TO GROW OUT OF THAT.

A MORE PSYCHOLOGICALLY UPLIFTING SURVIVAL IS DEPENDENT
UPON A MORE EQUITABLE AND HONEST COEXISTENCE AND THIS
ESCALATING INEQUITIES THING IS JUST TOO DUMB A ROAD TO BE ON.

IT IS INTERESTING, EVEN AMAZING TO ME THAT SO MANY OF THOSE
WHO SUBMIT TO EXTERNAL PSYCHE AND MORAL AUTHORITY ARE THOSE
WHO JUSTIFY THAT OTHERS MUST SUBMIT TO THEM. THOSE THAT CHOOSE
TO NEED THIS EXTERNAL GUIDANCE SEEM TO FEEL THE NEED TO DOMINATE
OTHERS. THOSE THAT FEAR DEATH AND NOTHING OR THINK, GEE THERE MUST
BE SOMETHING BETTER OR THERE MUST BE MORE REASON FOR LIVING
OTHER THAN JUST THE SIMPLE GLORY OF LIFE, TO ME JUST HAVE A NEGATIVE OUTLOOK ON THINGS.

THERE IS NO SENSE OF ONE FOR ALL AND NO SENSE OF TRUST THAT
THOSE OF A DIFFERENT LAND AND DIFFERENT RELIGION AND DIFFERENT
COLORED SKIN COULD BE AT ALL AS GOOD AND SENSIBLE PEOPLE AS OURSELVES.

Some 17+ years now and the fighting goes on.

How long ago did you know that Maliki (even sp? here, am so fed up and bamboozled
with it all) would go one day and that another Saddam would take his place.
Or, another man that the Americans could help to be vicious enough to ensure control of the country.

Every damn country, some 99% of us world population want America to
be a good neighbor, a good world citizen and a friend. You must know that.

Sorry for drifting, and you know the caps are not yelling or excess emotion
or hate or anything like that, but just emphasis and even often just by accident;
a looking at fingers for too long and then a f'it, just leave it.
