I think that this is a lesson for the good Doctor. The natural tendency is to tell people your best opinion, but he needs to be careful not to over-reach. His clarification seemed to be a more accurate presentation of the data i.e. that the resulting admixture of European and native American is typical of Hispanic people. (However, there are many non-hispanic people who would share the same admixture.)
