That is what bugs me with NVEC, "the potential of spintronics has been estimated to be $100 B per year", (estimated by whom?) that is 50% of the total chip business, and IMTO, nothing but hype. Even if it is, you don't see INTC in every NR stating the potential for chips is so many hundreds of billions per year.
