Well, didn't I question just that:
"The only thing is, is where is Intel's part?"
If Intel thinks that a software program on Itanium is enough to win (over again) the x86 market, they're wrong.
I think we all understand the GE part of the equation. The real question still exists: If Intel lets AMD make significant money enough to build fabs and supply the world before the Chinese do, they're done. Similarly, if the GE gov't bellies up to the bar with the billions required, same deal.
