Days like today infuriate me. While I will not totally discount the possibility that someone 'just had to sell', my better judgement tells me it was more likely MM manipulation.
When a dollar is being given a way for a dime, it's seldom that people will part with the dime (that's worth a dollar), especially when a more fair price for that dime is just around the corner.
When manipulation like this occurs, I hardly think I'm the only one who feels cheated, too.
Just a couple weeks ago, some poor b*astard walked into his brokerage firm, after losing a $100K, and blew away 9 of his fellow workers, before doing himself. Granted, the circumstances were somewhat different, methinks NITE is setting themselves wide-open for 'some form of retaliation' by someone who may not be stable, such as a pyromaniac.
People don't like losing their savings to greedy b*stards, and NITE is blatantly showing themselves as one. Pardon me for negative thoughts, but there's a point when thievery goes beyond criminal, greed exceeds forgiveness, and injustices past the point of acceptability, where retaliation in extremes, is the madman's only recourse.
My apologies if a few beers has got me pissed, but I would feel no loss to humanity if the 'good' people at Knight Securities went to work one day, and never made it back home. Maybe then, the truly deserving would be able to pay off their mortgages, send their kids to college, and take the dream vacation they have long needed.
