I might go ahead and put all the changes into production myself in a little bit. The problem you're seeing isn't happening in development.

Also, you should go to Tools on your IE menu, select Internet Options, hit the Advanced tab, then uncheck the "Show friendly http error messages" thing. Having it checked (the default) results in generic error messages that don't give me any info to work with.
