Thank you Virgil for posting Dr Frudakis's paper and yes statins can cause Rhabdomyolysis, statin induced myopathy, neuropathy and muscle wasting along with CoQ10 depletion and collagen and elastin production cessation......all in the name of lowering one's cholesterol....
The brain is +/- dry weight cholesterol and you need cholesterol to live and function in a homeostasis and symbiotic manner....lowering cholesterol too low and you can acquire dementia and possibly Alzheimers too....
