Exactly, Pete.

Some things never cease to amaze me though. I'll try to be brief here ...would like to relate an anecdote from the evening when none of us was sure who would be our next President ...Bush or Gore.

Everybody was glued to their TV sets...I was rooting for Bush and a friend was for Gore. If you'll recall there was a premature announcement declaring Gore the winner. Naturally I was disappointed but I made it a point to offer my congrats to my new friend. She accepted graciously.

Then came the brouhaha over the Florida vote count. When it was finally over I no longer had a friend and indeed...she later became one of the worst, most abusive females I've ever had the misfortune to meet.

Anyway...this time around I am going to make it a point not to discuss politics...not even with MDB! Besides he's bigger than I am! LOL

What's your weather like? Foggy and rainy here...am going to hibernate this weekend.
