it means a move is going to happen. one thing i've learned is that you don't even need the cross-over to happen, if a move is going to occur, the trix and its signal line will move closer to each other and then cross over. when they move together is the beginning of the move. HOWEVER, i've also seen the TRIX move together but NOT crossover, in those cases, there is usually a small move but not one that can be profited from unless one has a ton of shares or is looking for a smaller %.
