What Happened to Real America?

Our rights are under attack from every angle now days. Property rights, right to bear arms, freedom of speech, and states rights. The federal government is taking over wildlife and fish management and telling states what they can and can't do. Violating the tenth amendment. The States are violating property rights and calling it land use planning. All levels of government are attempting to take away your right to bear arms and freedom of speech. The Clinton gun ban and many other federal laws are in violation of our right to bear arms. The campaign finance reform bill violates freedom of speech.

Many states have passed right to carry bills, but look at them. You must take a course and apply for a permit to do this. This law should simply say that as long as you have a right to bear arms you should be able to carry concealed without getting permission from the government to excursive this right. Of course the government wants you to pay them to get this permit. Isn't that nice, pay for your rights.

The instant background check is another dumb idea. You should only have to identify yourself and the government check should say that this person can legally purchase firearms, end of story. Here in Oregon they even want to know what kind of weapon and keep a record for five years, again in violation of our Constitution.

The court system which is merle to interpret laws is now making laws from the bench without impute from anyone against our Constitution. The system of checks and balance that was set up by the three branches of government are now out of balance because of this and many UN-Constitutional laws that are allowed to stay on the books, or ones made by the court. Most everyone will agree that the system is corrupt and no longer works. So if it is broke who will fix it?

The government has allowed people to levy fines and take property who are not elected or attached to the court system. They can stop you from doing business and cost you more than your profit by levying fines for no reason. People are in fear of the government now at all levels, it was never to be this way. Justice costs more than anyone can afford unless you are the government. So there is no justice anymore.

So now people are starting to plant large predators all over and protecting them so that we can drive people off the land into cities. We have shut down industry and removed property rights with the Endangered Species Act. Those in society who would like to see this nation molded to their own liking use the corrupt court system and these federal and state acts to take our rights a property from us, not to mention our ability to work and support our families.

Voters no longer feel they are in control or have any say in anything so they don't vote. You must have money to run for office and the all mighty dollar seems to run everything as well as the corruption that goes with it. Our young are abusing drugs just to put up with the world we have given them. Our jails are full and people want us to build more. We can't keep enough health services for people and everyone is suit happy.

Insurance is the biggest scam of all. No one can live with it or without it. Everyone in the health profession and justice system takes advantage of insurance and they in turn take advantage of you and I. This in turn is destroying our whole monitory system.

Our elected representatives answer to everything is for us to give them more money so they can provide more and more services we demand, or they think we do. We have an oversized government that is way to big and providing services we don't want or need. Once they give it to us they never take it away unless it is something we really need like law enforcement or fire protection.

Living in a home, you own, now costs more per month than people made in a year at the start of the last century. Isn't it amazing how much damage we have done in just 100 years. Even income tax by our federal government didn't start until 1913. Now look at the monster that is.

After reading all this we sound more like communist Russia than we do the United States of America. Our founding fathers wouldn't even recognize this nation today. They would be leading the charge to put down our government and start fresh again.

So this is the nation we are starting this new century with, and leaving to our children. This is the nation our young are dying overseas to keep free for us? This is the nation you are going to vote to protect this coming year. Are you going to vote, and are you going to make it count, or make it worse. Think about that. Now we are removing any mention of God from our government and allowing people to sin with the protection of law. Abortion and Gay marriage, come on now who would think God would put up with that. So let me be politically incorrect and close this.
