Would not suppose it's a mere reciproce question about the size of the pocket. Other aspects (OK maybe way out) such as linking your name to a new production platform could form a barrier as there will be contracts between b.e. Novo Nordisk/Wyeth and the blood plasma industry. So what could form a hurdle (excuse me for the direct way of formulating) as the advantages are more or less clear.
Partnering isn't a cake walk evidently, it seems to be quite difficult. I'd like to gain some insight that's all. V.
