IMO Both of them refer to the same security, which is the stock shares of Soma Petroleum Limited. They should be equivalent to each other. CUSIP is embedded in the ISIN with the CA prefix, meaning Canadian securities, and a check digit in the end, which is 6, in order to ensure the correctness of the whole ISIN id number.

My certifcate has the above CUSIP number, but there is no ISIN number used by European exchanges and other international exchanges outside of North America. What about other people?
