jf didn't really know what he was doing. He was a kid in a candy store who had a lot of money and he was playing ceo. What did he care, he wins no matter what. That's the way the game is set up.
The main thing was the appearance of some sort of plan and people jumped on board, but it was only an appearance with no real knowledge or intelligence behind it. It looked good enough to suck people in and jf knew it and that's all that mattered for jf to make a bundle.
