Well, this is not my opinion—it’s what CEO’s such as JP Garnier and Dan Vasella have been saying on CC’s for the past couple of years. They’ve wanted to make deep cuts in selling expenses, but they were willing to do it only if the rest of the industry (read: Pfizer) was willing to play along.

Finally, it seems that everyone is playing.
