I see you are not grasping what I was saying. I was saying there was a need for unions when one big company employed most of the poepe in the are.
And you are saying I am wrong because workers of small companies want to unionize. What does it prove? Of course people want to unionize. Why work for less if you can extort your employer to pay more?

I know it is legal to unionize. But the question should be why someone organized or not has a right to extort?
No wonder you call my babysitter example extreme. Of course it is extreme since it puts you on the worse side of the deal. And any good liberal knows that common folks cannot be put at the disadvantaged position. Of course it is extreme to demand $50 an hour from a person, but it is perfectly OK to extort the same $50 an hour from a greedy company owner.
