Beat as far as Ukraine is concerned you also have to remember Walter Stunder CEO of NSDM was doing work there for another company who invested $450,000.00 to site work. Then when company funding ran out Walter staked thier claims for himself and started up NSDM. So yes there has been work done there but not by Walter and NSDM exclusively. A question you may want to ask here is why would Walter stake claims on land, he knows and has worked on, if he did not think there was something there?? And the Ukraine is also not as easily accessible as nor does it have a diamond rush as Canada does. The Ukraine takes longer to do paper work and as stated in PR by NSDM they also have antiquated drills and tools making it a longer process. So as much as I think they have a viable shot at finding diamonds there it will take longer to cut through all red tape there instead of Canada.
As to finding a diamond mine that is economically worth making you may want to read links posted at top of the NSDM board. They may be helpful to you to understand the process of diamond mining and timetables to other diamond producing mines and how long it took them. You have to remember they first have to find kimberlite pipe which is a diamond host. They may know it is there but finding it is touch and go. That is what takes time. Sometimes hit on first core drill and others may wait years. If there was a surefire way to find them I am sure someone would have bought all the diamond mines in world by now.
Me I put my money on NSDM to find diamonds to make me money. Risky? Yes but I know that and am willing to let the dice fall where they may. As I have stated before this is a risk play for me and is not a big portion of my portfolio nor should it be any good investors to lock up all your money in risky plays. Hope I helped and hope we find diamonds. Ralph3
