Ifinix getting some bad press over on Elite trader. I hope this is nothing but a misunderstanding but still doesnt help with a the image of the company.
As the owner of Elite Trader, I am regularly contacted by trading firms looking to advertise their services to our community. Back in March, I was contacted by Drew Budhu, CEO of iFinix Corp. about advertising, and after a few emails back and forth we worked out a one-year agreement and started the campaign. On the second month of the campaign, we were unable to process the payment for that month because the iFinix credit card got declined by our payment processor. We assumed the account may have changed over to a new card or some other issue like that. I emailed Drew on May 3, 2007 informing him of the situation but got no response whatsoever. I then called and left several voice messages over next few days and weeks, but I never received any return call, email, or voicemail.
I let another week go by and finally was able to reach him on the phone and I explained the declined card situation once again. This conversation took place on Friday, May 18th in the afternoon, and he said he would get me a new card number at the beginning of the next week. By this point, I was a little skeptical but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. So guess what happened that next week? You got it... nothing. I emailed him on May 22nd to remind him but again got no response. I then called again a couple weeks later and spoke to a woman there at iFinix who assured me she would get to the bottom of it all and get back to me. I never heard back from her either.
Bottom line: Avoid this company. They owe us money. They don't honor written agreements or their word, and I could never in good conscience recommend them to any trader.
