Yes, OR beaches get drift for the ocean a lot.
The Japanese current swings by, bringing drift from WA too.
Back in 2-96, we had what was called, a 100 year flood.
Thousands of trees were washed down our many rivers and finaly to the mouth of the Mighty Columbia, at Astoria!
I'm sure you saw that 100 year on National TV?
Lewis & Clark 1905.
Mt St. Helens did a great job in 1980!
Thousand of trees went down the Toule river and into the Columbia.
