gm general Most State of the Union speeches tend to be as positive as they can make 'em. Gerry Ford was kinda negative as we'd been in a tough recession and tougher market the prior year. But like generals who tend to fight the last war, Mr. Ford didn't take a look at the Dow whart which had bottomed. Mr. Bust, to my knowlege never says anything negative. I don't watch/listen these speeches. They don't help [me.]
